Hello! Welcome to my shenanigans!
My name is Adrienne Graybill, a 38-year-old working wife and mother of 3. I am married to my high school sweetheart Shaun, and we have 2 sons and a daughter. I am proud to say my full-time job is to make people feel beautiful every day. As a Cosmetologist of almost 20 years, my days can be long, but my heart is full!
After long consideration, many health issues and some weak coaching I received as a client from a trainer, I decided to start studying personal training in 2023. It has changed my life!
I grew up in a "meat and potato" kind of family. Which is great, protein and carbs are our friends. But as I entered my teens, with infortune family challenges my diet turned to overly processed and non-nutritional foods. So of course, my early adult years stayed the same combined with some "meat and potato" again because that is what my husband likes!
Naturally I am a petite woman, but overall, besides being a "HUGE house" during all my pregnancies I have only ever been 30 pounds overweight. But, shared some years of being very underweight, skin and bones. (Which is not good either.)
In 2008, after having my 2nd son I was diagnosed with severe IBS. Leaving me with constipation, bloating, acid reflex and just terrible stomach pain. This went on for years, after doctors' visits and testing, I was left with no answers and being over medicated.
I started to rip the Band-Aid off in 2020. Taking time to listen to my body, what I could eat that agreed with me and what to eat in moderation to avoid IBS attacks. It is amazing what you can learn about your body, if you just pay attention a little more. Therefore, now being early 30's I learned that now our bodies start to lose muscle mass. Which leads to injuries later on. So, I hired a personal trainer to teach me what to do. Well, between times of not being ready to commit and trainers that I just did not "click" with, I knew I had to start training myself.
Two years of listening to my body, no crazy restrictions and achievable goals I am in the best shape of my life! No fad diets, no starving myself, no crazy cardio sessions and hours at the gym. Just a prepared plan including self-love.
